Wizz Air Adds Alicante, Frankfurt and London to Its Chișinău Network This Winter

Starting in October, Wizz Air will expand its presence at Chișinău International Airport with three brand-new direct routes and additional flights on six existing destinations, giving travelers from Moldova more options for reaching Western Europe and the UK.
Three New Destinations Join the Network
Beginning with the 2026 winter schedule, Wizz Air will inaugurate the following direct routes from Chișinău:
- Chișinău – Alicante, Spain — launching October 25, with 4 weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday)
- Chișinău – Frankfurt-Hahn, Germany — launching October 26, with 2 weekly flights (Wednesday and Sunday)
- Chișinău – London Gatwick, United Kingdom — launching October 25, with 4 weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday)
Ticket prices start at 629 MDL for Alicante, 679 MDL for Frankfurt-Hahn, and 809 MDL for London Gatwick.
Alongside the new destinations, Wizz Air will boost capacity on six routes already operated from Chișinău this winter season. Flights to Bucharest will double in frequency, rising from 7 to 14 flights per week. The airline will also add extra flights to Bologna, Dortmund, Barcelona, Memmingen, and Nürnberg.
Responding to Growing Demand
All three new routes will operate as year-round, round-trip services, meaning passengers will be able to fly not only from Chișinău to Alicante, Frankfurt-Hahn, and London Gatwick, but also back to Chișinău on the same routes. Tickets for some of these connections are already available for booking ahead of the October launch dates, giving travelers plenty of time to plan their trips well before the winter schedule takes effect.
So whether you’re coming from Spain, Germany, or the UK — we’re waiting for you in Moldova!
